Looking at the tires, they are similar in tread pattern and knobby height. The knobbies were actually tighter spaced on the 5 medium then the MH3, even though the pattern was similar. The 5 did feel lighter(we already know this)., Michelin Starcross 5 Medium compound 120/80-19 rear . Michelin Starcross 5 Medium compound 80/100-21 front . Not the old Starcross MH, type series.I can not believe how much better this tire is wearing than the old MH3s. Very confidence inspiring traction..
